Blocked drain causing flooding

Reported via mobile in the Flooding of a road or pavement category by Stef Mills at 18:27, Tue 6 December 2022

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4019272.

The drain on the road is below some large trees and each autumn it gets blocked with leaves meaning that any water cannot be drained away easily. It is currently blocked again and so the road keeps flooding.

Adding to the problem today, there is a burst waterpipe which Bristol Water are currently fixing; however the excess water is again flooding the road as the drain is blocked.

The blockage has been causing flooding for around 3 weeks so far this time.

Location is Greenvale Drive, Timsbury BA2 0HP by the row of trees before the postbox.
