Incorrect road signs on Red Hill, Camerton

Reported via desktop in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 14:09, Tuesday 10 January 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4109724.

They are the red and white arrow signs which say you either have to wait for incoming traffic or telling you to ‘go’.

The same sign has been put up for those coming up the hill and those coming down the hill creating either an impasse or everyone just going for it.

They do need to be put right otherwise there is likely to be an accident.

  • Hi

    Ref: 4109724

The signs on this road are still incorrect. Please can you tell me what is being done about them. Thank you.

  • Glad I'm not the only one concerned about this! Several times this week there have been VERY near misses with cars both going at the same time. Adding more signs like has been done doesn't solve the problem, it only confuses drivers further! Speed wasn't too bad of an issue before on this hill, until for whatever reason it was decided to put chicanes in and it's a racetrack with accidents waiting to happen (and have happened)
