Drop pavement too low allowing flow of water across pavement leading to flooding
Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 13:22, Wed 11 January 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4114253.
The drop pavement which allows access to the Cruro housing at the bottom of Bath Old Road has dropped too low in places so rain water which flows down Bath Old Road flows across the pavement rather than in to the drain. This water flows to another drain on the corner of the Radstock Museum and the Curo carpark which cannot cope or is blocked leading to flooding at that corner and possible damp problems in the Museum. The drains on Bath Old Road are often blocked allowing significant amounts of water to flow down and gather on this corner.
