  • Hi. as I've explained in a similar report at this location (report it reference 4218509).

There is currently a freeze on all but essential spend within the Parks Team.

As this is a woodland with undulating ground throughout and wide steps at this location, it would be useful to know how many people actually make use of this handrail to be able to justify expenditure on this item: compared to, say, replacing a swing seat in a children's play area, or removing gates from a park to park the space more accessible for wheelchair users.

I'm also concerned that this will be vandalised again, and that investing in a piece of furniture that does not seem to be essential would be a poor decision if there is a high risk that it will be vandalised again in the future.

Can you please provide some more information as to why this needs to be repaired and we can look into it..

    Thanks..
