Hello,

I live at 75 Somerset Way, Paulton, BS39 7YX, and would like to know if we can have a yellow grit bin installed in the cul de sac?

  • Thank you for your grit bin request. Regrettably, after reviewing your request it does not meet our set criteria for a grit bin to be installed. Somerset way already has a grit bin in place on the steepest section of hill which salt can be taken from.

    For further information, The criteria for the Grit Bins can be found under “Winter Service Policy”, on the B&NES website, in the Highways section. Information on our gritting routes can also be found there.
