Poorly marked junction resulting in incorrect parking

Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 14:12, Sunday 5 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4283776.

Problem going on for years - but recently worse. Drivers keep parking on Holcombe Lane adjacent to a junction, directly opposite another junction, obstructing a dropped curb opposite the doctors surgery (not adjacent to drive so is for pedestrians with mobility issues and parents / carers crossing the road with small children and push chairs). It is not always this car in photo but it was this one this evening. Sometimes one of the cars parked here is on the curb.

Cars turning onto Holcombe Close often have no choice but to cut the corner from the ‘wrong’ side of the carriageway.

Pedestrians have to step down onto the road with obstructed views by a junction.
