Southdown Road from junction of Englishcombe Lane and Hillcres DriveLarge

Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 19:04, Sun 5 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4284478.

Numerous large deep pot holes, almost meeting together making a trench, which extends from the bottom of the hill to Hillcrest drive. They are now becoming very dangerous especially for pedal and motor cyclist let alone damage caused to motor vehicles. if an accident were to happen due to these defects I am sure the local authority will be held responsible to any injuries caused. I am aware there is a so called problem with this type of defect to our roads but they should be maintained in a proper state of repair. The problem has been ongoing for a long time albeit some holes have been so called repaired, which did not last very long. I am only reporting this problem in hope the matter can be resolved asap and not for someone to get injured which could result in compensation from the local authority. Than You.
