Barriers listed in pavement/Island surface
Reported via Android in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category by Andrew Poulton at 15:10, Wed 8 March 2023

I am sorry but whoever closed off this earlier report clearly did not take in the seriousness of the issue. I NEVER report anything I did not think was a problem. I was trained in these issues and worked in this field some 1972 and still do. These are VERY LOOSE in the surface. There is a health and safety issue as people sit on them. Lean on then. And I saw a guy park his large motorcycle against it and go for a coffee in Costa. I appreciate that is NOT what they were designed for. (If it was my project they would have never been fitted in the first place and if so sunk into road surface) Please reconsider this report. If you wish me to attend a site visit with a senior engineer to point out the problem I can. I will buy them a coffee in GREGGS and we can sit on the barrier WITH THE OTHERS.
