Approx 4/6 York flagstones mussing

Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category by Heather Smith at 15:51, Thu 9 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4295702.

The pavement in front of Park Street Community Garden at the very top of Park Street has missing paving stones. I reported this before and your operatives said ‘they coukd not be located’ which is very strange given the photos enclosed? I wonder whether the operatives looked yesterday when the pavement was covered in snow? At some point somebody has filled the space with rubble to level out the thoroughfare that is the pavement. As this is a conservation area I would assume that pavement should be mended by BaNes… the path is used quite extensively by pedestrians dropping down to town from Lansdown. If they knock on 23a the area can be pointed out to them

  • It is now 35 days since this was logged and the ‘in progress’ has not been updated. The missing slabs are still missing as per the original photos sent in and an update would be welcome. The original slabs were apparently lifted/taken away and never replaced. The gaps have filled with rough gravel which is quite unsightly and nit in keeping with the rest of the pavement.
