  • Im writing to ask the council to come up with a remedy for the flooding of this path and consequent mud and slippery nature of the path. Today trying to negotiate my way around I slipped and fell . I suffer with arthritic knees and due to the mud was unable to get up luckily some passers by helped. Im now in pain. With my shopping ruined. Surely its not beyond the realms of possibility to permanently raise this path? This has been a problem for decades. Instead of wasting council tax payers money on dangerous layouts in the high street the council should maintain the nemorial park path and get on with the footbridge by thd bandstand. I grew up in keynsham in the 60s it was a lovely place then. Hoping this actually gets done before a serious injury
