On the paved verge outside Far End, Kipling Avenue. BA2 4RD

Reported via mobile in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 10:48, Saturday 18 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4321146.

A cast iron bollard was knocked over on Monday 13th March by the lorry shown in the photograph. I did mention it to the driver, as I saw it happen. He said he would report it, but I am not certian that he did. The bollard is a very heavy metal bollard, which is currently laid down. It has fractured off its base, so cannot be safely placed upright. However, people keep putting it up again, which is dangerous, as it can easily fall and would damage cars or people. The old bollard needs to be removed and a replacement concreted in as quickly as possible. Many thanks
