The old telephone exchange
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 20:58, Saturday 18 March 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4329548.
The occupants in the old telephone exchange have a parking space outside which they choose to keep a car on a trailer, now another trailer has been parked behind this with a car on. The pavement going up the lane and around to Ridge Crescent is then full of other cars, right up to the corner, and the other side of T junction if pavement is full, this is causing a problem in this small area, you cannot use that bit of pavement to walk up or down the lane, you have to walk in the road, if a car is pulling out of Ridge Crescent and someone is trying to turn in the car pulling out has to go back because of the car parked on the corner. This has been going on for 2/3 years there was a boat there for years which has now gone, but has now been replaced by cars on trailers one is definitely on the pavement, the cars now parking half on half of the pavement are making it difficult to see when pulling out of Ridge Crescent

Thank you for your report, Please don’t use this platform to report parking issues. Our Civil Enforcement Officers can issue Penalty Charge Notices for infringement of double yellow lines or other parking restrictions, but we can’t respond to issues of parking when there are no restrictions in place. If parked vehicles are causing an obstruction it is a Police matter and should be reported via 101.
For any Parking enquiries please directly contact Parking@bathnes.gov.uk. Please be aware that whilst we value intelligence reports from the public we are typically unable to respond reactively to them; however, this information does however help us deploy our officers more effectively
