Continual dumping of dog mess, rubbish and household items

Reported via desktop in the Fly-tipping category anonymously at 12:29, Monday 20 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4334945.

The removal of the Council bin has caused more fly tipping, dangerous dumping of rubbish and dog waste and bags. Everyday there is more dog mess, bags and household rubbish which the Council removes on a regular basis - however perhaps there should be provision for the disposal of dog mess and household rubbish that is dumped here daily (area of outstanding natural beauty!!!?). Some coordination and communication between Council and CURO is required along with a 'rubbish amnesty skip' and a local tidy up combined with some strong messaging about dogs, dogs off leads and dog fouling. The waste and dog faeces in this area is causing a public health and rat problem. Dogs without leads or muzzles has led to hazardous fouling and attacks.
