Flooding of gravel walk and slippery mud

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 17:22, Monday 20 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 weeks, 6 days, 19 hours, 13 minutes later. Council ref: 4336810.

STATE OF GRAVEL WALK Lack of maintenance over the years has resulted in masses of leaves and weeds accumulating and decaying, fuelling production of humus and soil which in turn lead to further weed growth. So the cycle continues. The result is water logging of the supposed gravel areas and mud of several inches depth in places. Not only is this unsightly to both residents and tourists but makes exit via our garden gate onto Gravel Walk quite difficult, having to negotiate this slippery mud and settled water after rainfall.
