Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category by Ian Plaister at 21:09, Friday 24 March 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4355995.
This defective road surface and potholes has been reported previously and has been reported as fixed; THIS IS NOT THE CASE. There is an area of approximately 16 sq metres which requires resurfacing due to neglect, poor drainage and lack of maintenance over two decades. The road surface has a number of potholes and is badly raised by a build-up of silt and mud. This is now a traffic hazard and was missed when the recent road surface improvements were carried out. Drainage is a contributory problem and the attempt today - 24/03/23 - to throw down dollop of tarmac , does not address the problem in any way.
