Vehicle damage - Bath Road

Reported via desktop in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 09:17, Tue 28 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4367121.

Yesterday afternoon, I was driving home from work along Bath Road towards Paulton, and just outside the village I had to move left towards the verge as two cars came towards me.

I hit a pothole, with a loud bang and almost instantly the tyre pressure warning light came on and the car became unstable. I managed to get home to Brookside and inspected the wheel. The tyre has a cut in the sidewall of the tyre and a scratched wheel rim. I’ve attached a photo to show cut and scratch.

I will go back and take a photo of the pothole when I can, and report to Fix my street, but in the meantime I’ve enclosed a map to show you the location.
