Verge torn up into mud spreading across pavement causing mess & slippage

Reported via mobile in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 10:58, Thursday 30 March 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4376276.

Near 116 Park Rd, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 1AR,

There is a patch of verge with one large tree. The tree along with others close by,have been successfully trimmed and this is good.

However, this part of the verge has been torn up and turned into a muddy bog by a couple of vehicles parking right up on the verge repeatedly and often.

The mud from the verge is spreading across the pavement and making it difficult to pass for those with unsure footing or wheeled devices.

The pavement needs clearing of the mud and the verge needs anti parking posts embedded in it (like those recently added beside the Simply Carpets store on Temple St) to prevent whoever is using it as a skid patch and personal parking spot.
