Dangerous car parking and missing double yellows
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 23:17, Saturday 1 April 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4387364.
This Audi is parked in a place that severely restricts access to Pixash lane and is dangerous making the road effectively a single lane road. New yellow lines have been painted but this car was parked here when the lines were painted so there is now no double yellow lines here. Please can this be looked at as there have been a number of near misses on this junction due to this car.

Thank you for your report, Please don’t use this platform to report parking issues. Our Civil Enforcement Officers can issue Penalty Charge Notices for infringement of double yellow lines or other parking restrictions, but we can’t respond to issues of parking when there are no restrictions in place. If parked vehicles are causing an obstruction it is a Police matter and should be reported via 101.
For any Parking enquiries please directly contact Parking@bathnes.gov.uk. Please be aware that whilst we value intelligence reports from the public we are typically unable to respond reactively to them; however, this information does however help us deploy our officers more effectively
