Splintered stone slab on North side of Bathwick Hill, opposite no.21
Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 00:03, Friday 14 April 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4436251.
The slab has broken into a number of pieces which keep lifting above the pavement surface after attempts have been made to piece them together, thereby causing a trip hazard for anyone walking on the pavement in the dark. Presumably the slab has broken as a result of a heavy vehicle mounting the very low kerb. Another bollard would be helpful as a deterrent to drivers that don't give way when the road isn't wide enough to accommodate vehicles passing in both directions.
