Larger than was bus stop lane marked on the road

Reported via desktop in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 11:24, Fri 14 April 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4438690.

The road was recently resurfaced, but the bus stop markers are larger than before, which means that when the bus stops, it will cover half of the residents' driveway.

  • As you can see from the photos a line had been stencilled in to show where the original school bus bay had been but the new line is about a metre wider which means if the school minibus parked on the new enlarged area it would block our driveway . It doesn’t need to be any bigger as the school bus is a minibus which fitted quite adequately in the original space
