Flooding on Charlton Road

Reported via mobile in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 21:55, Sun 16 April 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4448010.

Whenever it rains, water flows across Charlton Road and onto gardens/driveways of houses in Aesop Drive. It also floods the lay-by on Charlton Road, the footpath in the new estate and further flows down into Fieldfare Close, flooding gardens and driveways there too.

Work to install curbs around the lampposts along the boundary of the fields, where the water is coming from, has made this WORSE than it’s ever been. It’s flows like a river into the new estate in bad weather for days, and reaches as far as Parkhouse Lane.
