Lorries do not respect pavements for pedestrians and mount the pavement causing damage and danger
Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 21:53, Thu 27 April 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4494645.
HGVs are using the pavements in Pensford to drive on causing damage and danger to pedestrians. This is illegal and needs preventing. Please can you look into placing extra bollards to prevent this happening. A couple of the existing bollards are already damaged. Or, alternatively, a traffic light to create one way traffic? I don’t feel like I can walk in my own village down from my house to the local corner shop due to HGVs mounting pavements multiple times a day. This is a risk to the primary school children walking home up pensford hill towards station approach. Please help.
