Huge tree on Purlewent Drive
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4518349.
The enormous evergreen tree acts as a barrier to light in our house, overhangs our domestic property and in strong winds the branches are inches from our upstairs window, therefore we are adversely affected by this tree situated on council land. There is no way we can prune these branches ourselves due to the size and height of the tree.
The vast tree roots extend a long way from the trunk, making the footpath unsafe outside our house as cracks are appearing in the path.
The path is now extremely dark at night due to the density of the branches.

The tree is now dead and was looked at in January by the Council who said it would need to come down. With the approach of Autumn/Winter and more storms the resident is concerned about the safety of this tree in relation to their property.
