Large Tree Blocking Light

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4529675.

Like the previously maintained vegetation at the back of the houses, tree maintenance also seems to have been abandoned. In the past the larger trees have had their canopy & branches closest to the houses cut back, however this has not been done for several years & now the trees are in leaf again, they are blocking light from the houses in the Holloway cup de sac. :(

  • The tree inspector has visited the site and ordered the trees to be cut back from the buildings to allow at least 4 metre clearance. The works will be added to our maintenance schedule and should be done within the next 6 months.
