Big gaping hole in fence (big drop behind it)

Reported via iOS in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 19:20, Monday 15 May 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 day, 15 hours, 54 minutes later. Council ref: 4558116.

As per the letter from my 6 year old daughter Lizzie, we are very concerned about the gaping hole in the fence on the stairs to the green / park above Hanover Street in Bath. As she says, please could you come to fix it. This has been an issue for quite a while and we are worried that a child or pet could fall down it. Thank you for urgently fixing this.

  • Thank you for reporting this. We recently visited the site and spotted the terrible state of the railing and so have issued an instruction for it to be repaired as soon as possible. There isn't a date for the repair yet but we've raised it a priority and safety issue so hoping it should be done soon.

    Thanks for reporting!
