Dead branches falling down in Manor Road Community Park
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 12:59, Tue 23 May 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 day, 2 hours, 37 minutes later. Council ref: 4586922.
We were in manor road woods, keynsham today and a really large branch fell from a dead tree. There are other branches down around the tree and more dead branches above. We were only 1m away and lucky not to be hit. It made quite a dent in The ground! It is in a main path through the woods. I think it is a safety risk. I hope that the branches can be made safe but perhaps the trunk left as standing dead wood, a valuable habitat.

The site has been checked and can confirm the tree is growing on the adjacent private land. This report has therefore been forwarded to the Public Rights of Way Team for their involvement to follow up with the landowner and take the appropriate action.
