There is a magnificent pine tree towards the North end of Park Gardens, which is one of a collection round here (we have another in our garden at Fairlawn). The photo is our view of it from our bedroom window and we are concerned about its health in view of the amount of 'brown'. Is this natural (because of recent weather) or is there something more sinister happening? We love this tree and would be sad to see it go Matthew & Christine White, Fairlawn, Weston Road, Bath, BA1 2XX
