NCN sign obscrued

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 19:32, Thursday 25 May 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4597420.

NCN24 turns left from Grays Hill into Gullen on approach from Wellow. The sign for this junction is obscured by overhanging vegetation. This means the sign is easily missed, causing cyclists to lose their way. One of the attached photos is taken from the Hang Hill side (and so looking down the hill), from where the sign is clearly visible; this is to help you locate the sign. The other photo is taken from the Grays Hill side (and so looking up hill) very close to the junction to illutrate the problem - the sign is there, but completely hidden behind the tree. I reported the same problem last year (ref: Council ref: 3845778, https://fix.bathnes.gov.uk/ R/ GsGX68AfRFVrGcuRP6 ). Unfortunately, the action taken to resolve the problem then has not survived the first flush of spring growth. Some other solution seems to be needed. Thank you.
