Yellow Rumble Strips have faded approaching a major roundabout

Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 18:14, Tuesday 30 May 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4612141.

The yellow rumble strips have faded along the A4 Box Road on the westbound carriageway, approaching a pedestrian crossing and major roundabout leading to the A46 bypass. This is a notoriously bad area for speeding vehicles, as verified by Avon & Somerset Police Speed Enforcement officers and any traffic calming measure is vital.

The strips occur in a zone from which the speed changes along the bypass
