Overgrowth means that the pavement is far too narrow

Reported via desktop in the Excessive or dangerous littering category by Edmund Cannon at 08:35, Sat 10 June 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 days, 6 hours, 55 minutes later. Council ref: 4653912.

Alongside the retaining wall leafmatter and dirt has built up; this now has trees such as ash, field maple (pictured) and sycamore growing in it as well as ivy and a variety of wild plants. The width of the pavement should be just under 5 ft / 1.5 metres, but this has been halved. I have cleared some of the undergrowth to see what is underneath - the pavement and retaining wall are not in particularly bad condition, but if BANES fails to act soon the trees will start to damage the pavement. The road is on a blind bend and also the brow of a hill so visibility is poor. The speed limit of 40 mph is frequently exceeded. Pedestrians (including children walking to school) have to walk along an unnecessarily narrow pavement with cars doing 50 mph passing them only a few inches away. I have reported this in August 2022 and again in January 2023, but nothing has happened.
