Hedge overgrown on public footway
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 11:39, Saturday 10 June 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 days, 4 hours, 38 minutes later. Council ref: 4654492.
The hedge at this location has not been cut back regularly or properly maintained through the years. This blocks the visibility splays at the junction with Broadway cul-de-sac and leaves very little space for pedestrians to walk along the footway between the hedge and the on-street parking spaces. The hedge needs to be cut to the back of the footway to avoid people (especially elderly residents) walking dangerously on the carriageway with no clear visibility.
