A431 Kelston Road Bath. Cleeve Hill Scout campsite

Reported via desktop in the Railings, bollard, & post damage category anonymously at 13:04, Mon 26 June 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4717140.

Demolished Road cones and 40mph road sign and fence. An accident occurred a week ago overnight. A car ended up ploughing through the bollards on a bend in the road. A tree was demolished along with a 40mph sign and fencing damaged. This all took place on A431 Kelston Road Bath. Cleeve Hill Scout campsite. The police were not called and the vehicle was remved that night. Due the safety aspect walkers can now exit through the fence rather than kissing gate plus 40mph sign has now been removed which is a hazard to motorist. The site is used by youngsters camping and access can now be obtained from the public footpath. If the bollard could be replaced along with the 40mph sign and fence replaced that would solve all the issues.
