Weeds and leaves on Staunton Lane

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 08:39, Monday 3 July 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 week, 3 days, 1 hour, 40 minutes later. Council ref: 4742375.

I need to draw your attention to the state of the pavement between the drive entrance to 'Manor Farm Barns' and the public footpath sign towards Stockwood. This footpath initially is 5 ft. wide and rapidly shrinks to 2ft because of soil, leaf litter, hedge expansion, etc. Walking along with a skittish dog, my back to the traffic and trying to avoid brambles and stinging nettles jutting out, I found extremely dangerous. A large van's wing mirror almost hit me at one point. I'm hoping that it would be possible for BANES to send a team to clean up the pavement before an accident happens. I appreciate that last year the opposing side was massively cleared, which certainly improved visibility for drivers, but the pavement side is dire.
