Overgrown hedges & Trees
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 08:08, Thursday 6 July 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 hours, 27 minutes later. Council ref: 4755268.
Again ..... Eckweek Road (the end opposite the cemetery) becomes difficult to drive through without scratching our vehicles. The hedges need to be cut back by 3/4feet - I have asked for this to be done before (2021) but, it is never cut back to the boundary which it needs to be!! Please can you look into getting this done properly this time and double check the state of the trees on this "no-mans land" as a very large branch fell into the road when it was windy - it was lucky no pedestrian was walking near it or there would have been a serious injury. Thankyou

On the corner of junction at Bath Road leading to Huddox Hill, Peasedown St John, BA2 8DY. The original pavement has been reduced due to the boundary of 1 Bath Road extending on to pavement minimising the area in which pedestrians can walk. Some years ago, a bench existed on the corner for the elderly to sit but this has been lost due to the vegatative overgrowth from the garden of 1 Bath Road. This is a problem that has existed for some time, but as the house is now empty under new ownership can the Council please reclaim parts of the pavement back for local people.
