Dangerous trees overhanging public footpath

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 10:45, Fri 14 July 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 day, 12 minutes later. Council ref: 4786104.

There are several trees on Lyncombe Vale overhanging the public footpath which have been overgrown by ivy and now have no root structure to support them. The trees are overhanging where pedestrians walk every single day and children walking up to The Paragon. The trees are going to fall very soon as they have no root structure left and this will be incredibly dangerous for the residents of Daisybank and Sunnybank, people walking on the public footpaths, to cars parked outside Daisybank and Sunnybank and to infrastructures such as telephone pylons. This issue has also been reported in May however nothing has happened and with high rainfall and strong winds due, this is going to cause danger to residents and pedestrians. This needs urgent attention please before there is a severe accident or fatality.
