Light not working causing very dim conditions to walk in at night

Light 003 and possibly 002 have power supply issues from suspected underground cable damage. Our contractors have been asked to investigate and repair this fault.
We are sorry the light will be out for a while longer until this work takes place.
We shall add further information here when known.

The lights are still not working and is making the street very dark. How much longer will it take to be fixed?

We confirm our specialist cable repair team are booked to attend to this fault and others in the BANES area on Tues 29th and Wed 30th Aug. We trust the lights will be working after attendance but shall add further information if needs be.

Further to above, the team due to carry out these works have cancelled their attendance for next week. We sorry for this delay and shall confirm the re-arranged dates when known.

We can confirm that work here is scheduled to take place week commencing September 25th We are sorry for the delay in this work taking place and trust the lights will be working as normal afterwards.

Further to below we have been advised there is a delay in the attendance our repair team and they are now due to attend next week, the week of October 2nd.

We confirm that our cable repair team are due to attend Wednesday/ Thursday this week and hope to resolve this issue. We are sorry for the delay and shall add more information here if needs be.

It has been confirmed today that further work is needed to lay new cable between column 4 and 3. Our contractors have been instructed for this work and asked to attend as soon as they can. We shall add more information here about attendance when known.

It is now end of October. The clocks go back this Sunday. However our street lights are still not working. I reported this first on 22 July and still no joy. This will now mean longer darker nights and more chance of potential crime or disorderly behaviour. Also an increased risk of accidents. We pay our council tax and street lights come under this remit. So are we due a rebate ?

We are sorry this issue is not yet resolved. We spoke with our contractors again about this yesterday and we trust they will shortly confirm a date for these works. They have been asked to plan this as soon as possible.

Is there any news when the lights will be fixed - it is now dark when people get home from work and the street is in darkness which is dangerous and makes it easier for houses/cars to be broken into. As has already been mentioned, we pay our council tax and yet we are not receiving the services we are being charged for. I'm sure if this was in Lansdown it would have been sorted more quickly.

Our contractors advise they have been unable to complete the works as hoped due to the bad weather overnight / his morning. They intend to re-visit site next week. We are sorry for this further delay and shall add further information here when known.

Lights are still not working and there has been no sign of anyone doing anything this week - can this please be sorted as a matter of urgency as it's been four months since it was first reported.

Our contractors will be starting work on site today and aim to finish the works tomorrow if not completed by end of today.

No sign of any contractors on Fri 17th Nov as per your latest update. They were there on Sat 18th and dug a trench in the pavement and then left. Today, Mon 20th Nov, they have returned and filled in the trench but the lights are still not working. This is getting beyond a joke!

Our most recent attendance confirmed that light 2 and 3 were found to be working okay.
