Dangerous corner
Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 08:38, Wednesday 26 July 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4826236.
I drive this road twice a day as we live just down the hill and every single day I have a near miss where people CHARGE up the hill or down the hill in the dark wooded bit and are in the middle of the road. This morning someone almost clipped my car going far too fast in the middle of the road, again. A friend had a near miss two weeks ago. It is an extremely dangerous bend and needs some SLOW signs and proper road markings. It begins just outside Chew Valley Animal Park and continues down Chew Hill for a few hundred yards until you are out of the wooded zone. The road is too narrow for the speed people travel.
