The Pit Path from Shakespeare Road, Westfield

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In a residential area category by Diane Matravers at 13:07, Monday 14 August 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4890038.

Nettles are now starting to meet across the footpath once again, in fact the whole path is a mess, vegetation gets cut back but is never cleared away.

  • The Pit Path is now almost single file and as either side is completely over run with nettles it is proving dangerous especially for children. The entire path from Shakespearw Road to Sun chemicals is disgusting as are most of the public spaces in Westfield, to be honest I am ashamed to say I live here. the path doesn't need investigsting it needs clearing without delay.

  • If a mobility scooter, bicycle or pram is used on the path now pedestrians have to push themselves back into the nettles. This is disgusting in fact they whole of the pit path is in a badly overgrown, dangerous and disgusting state. The whole of Westfield is disgusting.
