IWe have received notification that the roads in the Pinewood area of Midsomer Norton are shortly to be resurfaced which is very good news however there seems to be an issue with a drain near the junction of Pinewood Road & Paulton Road every time there is heavy rain it overflows hence if it isn't unblocked the new tarmac will be just washed away as it has been each time the potholes have been filled in. They have been filled in several times in recent months & quickly washed away again due to the drain constantly overflowing.

The pot holes that were repaired two weeks ago are back due to the drain overflowing. I am concerned if the drain isn’t unblocked when the road is resurfaced the problem will be the same it will be a waste of time & materials.
