Pedestrian crossing on London road. Button on north side crossing not working properly.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 20 hours, 14 minutes later. Council ref: 4965455.

Every time I use this crossing I press the button to request to cross so that the traffic lights will go red and every time it cancels itself. I just had to press the button five or six times before it worked, didn’t cancel itself, and stopped the traffic to let me cross. Being able to use this crossing is essential for many and this is incredibly frustrating. Particularly as the pedestrian crossing at the end of London road by the Cleveland bridge crossing is so terrible; takes absolutely ages to get the green man to be able to cross and only gives you about 10 seconds it’s ridiculous.

  • Either not fixed or a new fault. On the north side, the button is not working - when pressed, nothing lights on the panel to ackowledge the button press and if the lights change at all, the wait is unfeasbly long.
