Gates locked preventing meadow access

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 days, 16 hours, 54 minutes later. Council ref: 4974284.

Gates to Kensington Meadows are locked preventing access from/ to the road.

Please can this be unlocked or the gates replaced bollards as other access points to the meadow.

This prevents locals walking through the meadow. Instead pedestrians have to walk the long way round through the estate

  • Thanks for raising this issue. The Council ran a public consultation about Kensington Meadows in 2019 which explored the option of opening the gate at Ringswell Gardens. However there was significant opposition to the proposal from neighbouring residents and the decision was made not to provide new access to the meadows. There are no plans to re-visit this issue for the forseeable future. Sorry....
