Warminster Road near Holborne Oark

Reported via mobile in the Excessive or dangerous littering category anonymously at 18:36, Thursday 14 September 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4995270.

Again another job but only half done. Leaves were blown off the path back onto the verge. Again not removed like they used to be. A few days later the leaves have now blown back onto the path. See pictures.

Due to the neglect the leaves that were not cleared back in the autumn have now composted and turned to earth, taking up some of the path. A shovel is needed to reclaim the original path.

The highlight of the most recent attempt to clean up is that they have strimmed the plants on the island crossing. Rather than getting a shovel to remove all the compost debris to eliminate plants growing and causing any long term damage.

Please can leaves be removed before we get to Autumn and the job be done correctly. If it was done properly in the first place then it would leave more time to get on top of other jobs around the city.

In the 25 years of living in Bath I’ve never seen the streets so neglected and overgrown. A regular maintenance program would surely resolve this issue.

Please can this issue be resolved properly especially in light of Autumn coming. If not then this will only compound the problem and make it twice as bad next year.
