The area is teeming with Rats.

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 08:59, Tue 19 September 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5008473.

Significant investment was presumably needed to create this space. I appreciate that the concept originally included wild flowers etc but it is now almost entirely nettles and weeds. It’s hugely overgrown and full of rubbish (mostly hidden in the undergrowth). I have passed through the area several times this week and saw rats (some very large) on each occasion - particularly in the beds adjacent to the areas designed for sitting. I tried to stop there to eat lunch on the weekend but a large rat jumped up to my side me and the. circled round in the weeds behind me. They can also be seen in the area surrounded by temporary fencing under the new footbridge.
