Willow tree branch may collapse onto pavement

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 12:26, Sat 30 September 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5047079.

Urgent pruning of unbalanced willow tree to the right on entering Charlton Park, Midsomer Norton from Fosseway required. The photos show that the small tree next to the willow tree is swamped by willow branches which it is now propping up and is in danger of collapse under the weight of the willow tree leaning on it. The willow tree requires urgent pruning as, apart from killing off the smaller tree, it poses a potential risk to pedestrians walking under it, should any of the large branches making the tree unbalanced on the right of the photo break. The smaller tree may already be dead as a result of this neglect very sadly.
