Junction of Widcombe Terrace/Church St

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 12:21, Fri 13 October 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 2 days, 22 hours, 7 minutes later. Council ref: 5093862.

These shrubs have been allowed to overhang for some years, they have now gotten so bad that branches are getting pulled down by larger vehicles as they try to pass underneath and largish branches have had to be removed from the area a number of times. they also obstruct the view on an already narrow street, and impinge on the parking space. These need to be removed from overhanging the street completely. they are coming down from the back garden of one of the houses on Widcombe Hill.

  • The entrance to Church Street is a slip hazard given the accumulation of vegetation over the years (now mulch) by the kerbside and pavement.

Could you please arrange to inspect and clear away before someone has an accident. Thank you.
