Paulton Road has flooded AGAIN, this is the second time in the last 6 weeks. Everytime it rains heavily the drains cannot cope and the road completely floods. I have been out in the pouring rain for nearly an hour trying to clearit as it runs down our drive and risks flooding our house

Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 17:50, Fri 13 October 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5095311.

There was over 6 inches of water outside our front annexe door. People drive very quickly along this road and someone is going to be killed if this issue is not sorted. I have reported previously and work was done earlier in the year but still no better.

  • Still flooding when it rains hard as the drain is higher than the surface of the road. There are also 2 main areas where the surface has warn away and the water pools causing huge puddles. Someone from the council did come out and mark the area with paint that was to be repaired but it took so long for the repair team to turn up that the markings wore off and they repaired the wrong area. The pavement is also covered with grit and is very slippery. This has been reported previously but again nothing has been done.
