Parking on the pavment
Reported via Android in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 14:08, Sat 14 October 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5097190.
Every day I walk my children to and from school, and nearly every day I have to walk in the road to get around badly parked cars on The Batch nr Aumery Gardens. This puts my children and myself at constant risk from traffic. It's mostly the same inconsiderate people who park there including the worst offenders who live at number 12. Please can you either put up signs or put in bollards to stop this dangerous parking. Thank you.

Thank you for your report, Please don’t use this platform to report parking issues. Our Civil Enforcement Officers can issue Penalty Charge Notices for infringement of double yellow lines or other parking restrictions, but we can’t respond to issues of parking when there are no restrictions in place. If parked vehicles are causing an obstruction it is a Police matter and should be reported via 101.
For any Parking enquiries please directly contact Parking@bathnes.gov.uk. Please be aware that whilst we value intelligence reports from the public we are typically unable to respond reactively to them; however, this information does however help us deploy our officers more effectively

I am so disappointed that no action wad taken. It appears to be ok to park on the pavement and force pedestrians into the busy road. Thanks for your understanding. I am sure it would be different if it was your children having to walk in the road to school.
