Fall on pavement connected to new cycle track
Reported via mobile in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 15:01, Sat 21 October 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5097354.
I was walking along the pavement and planning to cross the Rd opposite the St Peters hospice shop and fell over onto my knee and my chest slammed into a pillar. My shopping went all over the Rd and I am left with a very painful knee. I believe this is because the payment is very hard to distinguish against the cycle path. I am reading of tens of other people doing the same on the new rd surface in Keynsham high st. I am only 53 and quite fit but currently my knee is very painful. I'm not ruling out going to A& E to see if I have done any serious damage. I can't walk up and downstairs or drive currently
