BA2 8AU bridle way at Withyditch lane nr Splott Farm

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 13:24, Sun 22 October 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5124487.

The bridle way post/footpath sign has been put just over a meter away from the gate post making it impossible for a horse and rider to get through if the gate is locked shut. It was moved in this position couple of years ago and I have been meaning to mention this. The sign post used to be nearer the road which would also show up better for footpath users. We would be grateful if it could be moved to save horse riders having to turn around and have to ride down the lane from Carlingcott village. If you could pass this to the correct department to deal with.
