Low over hanging branches - No Ambulance Access

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 21:19, Mon 6 November 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5182134.

Section of Road between Shortwood House Cottage, moving past Shortwood House to the bend in Hook Lane. Very low over hanging trees and branches, obstructing the road. Access to emergency services limited for Ambulances and Fire Engines, plus other larger / taller vehicles. Very dangerous when tall vehicles attempt to pass as falling branches hitting cars following, or leaving branches in the road. This section of the road also has a large amount of mud from local farming on it which is very dangerous as your car struggles to grip road surface. Worth noting there is a deep and steep drop of several meters to the very edge of the road with little to no barriers still in place. Looks like barriers have been hit previously. This is very dangerous and such an accident due to a car slipping or sliding over the edge would almost certainly result in an instant fatality.
